Over time, repeated muscular contractions such as frowning, smiling and squinting will cause lines known as "dynamic wrinkles" to form on the face. During a treatment small amounts of Botox™ are precisely placed into the muscle responsible for causing each wrinkle or line. The effects develop over 3 to 4 days and usually last 3 to 4 months, at which time another injection is required.
